~ Florets ~
    There is a funny story about this jug, this little brown jug was on eBay & I didn't bid on it. After it was sold I really wished I had bid. What makes this jug unique is the two florets on either side of the word ~Jug~. Vicki & Bruce thanks for bringing this little brown jug to market.

        When my friend Jack found this jug he was incredibly excited. At first I did not share the same enthusiasm. His excitement was caused by the decoration on this LBJ, specifically the two florets one on either side of the word jug. Now I have to say in the 30 years of collecting I have owned and sold hundreds of jugs, many scratched "Little Brown Jug", Some “Little Brown Jug 1876” or “Little Brown Jug 1877”, and yes some marked with various centennial inscriptions. I have never and I repeat never seen one with a scratched decoration, until acquiring the undated piece.  So Jack thanks for finding this very exciting Little Brown Jug...
